Game Analysis Series: Risk/Reward When You're Behind

Join us for this upcoming session of NM Daniel Cremisi's popular Game Analysis Series. In addition to Daniel's master analysis of participants' tournament games, we'll examine how to play when you're behind in this session. We've all been there: down a pawn or two, or perhaps even the exchange, and our opponent seems to have everything under control. You know the eval bar is against you, but how can you keep fighting and create practical chances? Is it worth launching an attack, or should you focus on improving your position and waiting for your opponent to make a mistake? How do you avoid letting a difficult position spiral out of control—and, more importantly, how do you turn a disadvantage into fighting chances?

Join us for this class with one of the strongest players in San Francisco, get your games analyzed by a master, and learn how to stay resilient, find creative resources, and give yourself the best chance to turn those games you "should" lose into wins—or at least salvage the draw!

This class will run for six sessions on the following dates: 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, and 10/25.

All sessions will be held virtually via Zoom. Class will be recorded and shared with the participants.
