Description

Join us for a day of free family fun at Mechanics' first ever Union Square Scholastic Tournament!

Sign up now to join us for this free youth tournament in one of two sections. Players new to chess or interested in a lower-stakes tournament experience can play in our non-rated section. Experienced chess players with a US Chess Federation membership can play in our rated section where games will count towards their rating. 

Not a youth player? Join us for a free Simultaneous Exhibition with National Master Daniel Cremisi while the kids are playing!

Registration period

Registration starts on 09/10/2025 and ends on 10/05/2025.

Restrictions

Participants must currently be in grades kindergarten to 12.
