Saturday Scholastics - January

Saturday morning Scholastic Chess Classes are back!

If your child is passionate about chess and looking to improve, this class is the perfect fit. Geared towards tournament players rated under 1000 USCF, our program uses game analysis to teach important skills like spotting tactical patterns, planning ahead, and understanding chess strategies. Students will work through their own game examples to learn key lessons on how to improve their own chess play, so knowing how to take and read chess notation is expected. This class is an excellent opportunity to help your child build
confidence, improve their tournament play, and develop critical thinking
skills that extend beyond the chessboard.

Registration covers a month of Saturday classes and the entry fee for our monthly scholastic tournament.
