Get Those Chess Boards Out! - TUESDAYS 4-5PM

Fall session: Oct 20 - Nov 2

Fee: $120 - 6 classes (prorated $20/class)

Class time: Tuesdays 4 - 5PM

Class Level: beginners will review the following:

• board and its orientation
• pieces and their values, movements, and captures
• goal of the game and algebraic notations
• phases of the chess games and basic opening principles
• basic checkmating patterns

Platform: Zoom meeting - link will be sent via email.

No shared screen - students should have their own chess set and have it ready to use.
Computer should be on a desk where there is plenty of space for a physical chess board next to the computer, so that players are able to follow instructions from the coach.
