GM Nick de Firmian: A Journey Through Chess History

Course 1: Olympiads

Taught by 3-Time US Champion GM Nick de Firmian

GM
Nick de Firmian is the Mechanics' Institute's Grandmaster in Residence
and 3-time U.S. Champion. He has played tournaments all over the world
and has games, and experiences with some of the best players of the late
20th century. This course will be both instructive and enlightening,
with Nick showcasing some of his most exciting and instructive games
from his participation in Olympiads as part of the U.S. Chess team.
Learn from world class games while hearing stories never before told
about his interactions with teammates and competitors. This class will
be 4 weeks in length.
